We are Mischka and Devon, siblings and global education advocates who share a commitment to creating meaningful impact. Recognized nationally and internationally for our contributions to education equity, advancement, and youth empowerment, we continue to dedicate our efforts to driving lasting and transformative change.

In 2021, we founded Sejuta Impian (A Million Dreams), a national youth-led initiative that has empowered hundreds of thousands of students across Indonesia through partnerships with ministries, communities, organizations, and global brands that share our vision of empowering youth and promoting equitable education.

These experiences have reinforced our belief that real change begins with small, consistent actions done with sincerity, integrity, and purpose.

Mischka’s public speaking initiative, SpeakUp, was globally recognized with the RISE for the World Award for its innovation in empowering youth through communication and leadership.

We are deeply passionate about education advocacy and public speaking, having served as the youngest speakers at major prestigious international platforms including the ASEAN Summit 2023, Asia Water Forum 2023, and the UN Climate Conference (COP26). These opportunities stand as a testament to our belief that youth voices must be amplified to shape the future.

We are honoured to have been appointed Inspirational Young Figures by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the youngest-ever Kader Bela Negara by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, and named Ikon Prestasi Pancasila by BPIP, governed by the President of Indonesia. Our pursuit of excellence culminated in a MURI World Record for winning over 100 international medals in Mathematics and Science Olympiads.

Leveraging media for social change, we have garnered over 60 million views and counting through our social media platforms, integrating education, creativity, and communication to champion civic awareness and youth empowerment.

It is our commitment to share our knowledge, insights, and experiences to inspire others to pursue their dreams. Through our collective efforts, we strive to contribute to the advancement of society, fostering a culture of learning, motivation, and empowerment among the next generation of leaders.

Eager to understand how women in politics reconcile identity, culture and constraint, Mischka conducted and authored a research paper titled

Decoding Female Political Leadership: The Interplay of Culture, Constraints, and Identity among Indonesian Women Politicians

Through in-depth interviews with elected officials, ministers, and members of parliament, Mischka developed a typology of leadership identities.

It was an honour for us to be selected as the youngest speaker at The ASEAN 2023, in Jakarta in September 2023.

Through our speech “EMPOWERING TOMORROW: Youth as Future Leaders, Paving The Path to a Brighter Future in ASEAN”, we sought to inspire the next generation to lead with vision, championing innovation, creativity, and meaningful contributions to our region’s progress.

Sejuta Impian is a social national initiative empowering students across Indonesia through scholarships, leadership programs, and educational initiatives.
Since 2021, it has reached hundreds of thousands of students and partnered with government, corporations, and schools to advance education access in Indonesia. Its programs include scholarship and mentorship,
the #RoadToSchool teaching and mentoring initiative, environmental collaborations, public speaking and cultural workshops, and literacy program such as the Pancasila Toolkit.
The #SpeakUp program, a RISE For the World-Awarded program, has advanced opportunities for 20.000+ youth through public speaking and confidence programs now adopted in schools.
